The Republic of Namibia issued the Sixth National Development Plan (NDP6) to direct national economic and social priorities from 2025/26 through 2029/30 via targeted sectoral investments and policy reforms. The framework mandates expanding agriculture, manufacturing, green hydrogen, oil and gas, and digital infrastructure to achieve a 7 percent annual economic growth rate and raise national employment to 75 percent by 2030. It further requires comprehensive upgrades to education, healthcare, and youth empowerment systems alongside strengthened public financing mechanisms to ensure sustainable, inclusive prosperity.
