Norm on the Instruction for the Preparation of the Sectorization Report
The Board of Directors of the Superintendency of Banks and Other Financial Institutions establishes the "Instruction for the Preparation of the Sectorization Report" to obtain monetary statistical information from supervised banks and financial societies regarding their clients by economic sector. The regulation mandates the use of specific formats (Format I for monthly and Format II for weekly reports) and defines concepts such as residence and institutional units based on the Manual of Monetary and Financial Statistics. It repeals the previous norm issued in 2002 and grants the Superintendent authority to modify the instruction as necessary.
