The Board of Directors of the Superintendence of Banks and Other Financial Institutions establishes the Unique Account Manual for Insurance Intermediaries (MUCI) as a uniform accounting record system to ensure homogeneous financial statements. Insurance intermediaries are required to implement the MUCI and transfer account balances to the new catalog structure within 60 business days of the norm's entry into force, without adjusting equity. The Superintendent is authorized to approve necessary changes to the MUCI and must inform the Board of Directors, with the norm becoming effective upon publication in the Official Gazette.
