2025-03-28 | Instrução Normativa BCB 603Added
This instruction amends the Rural Credit Manual (MCR) to mandate a specific calculation method for the daily balance of rural credit operations featuring a post-fixed annual remuneration rate (Trvat). Financial institutions must ensure their systems apply a pre-calculated equivalent interest rate based on civil days (365 or 366) and treat Trvat as 0.00% per annum on non-working days, in accordance with CMN Resolution No. 4,880. Authorized financial institutions are required to align their informatized systems with these procedures by June 30, 2025. The instruction entered into force on the date of its publication on March 28, 2025.
