Notice communicating the Agreement of the Board of Directors of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties modifying the authorization granted to Seguros Banamex, S.A. de C.V.
The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties modifies the authorization granted to Seguros Banamex, S.A. de C.V. (formerly Citibanamex Seguros, S.A. de C.V.) to reflect the institution's change of denomination and its status as a subsidiary of Citigroup Inc. through Citicorp (Mexico) Holdings LLC. The authorization permits the entity to operate life insurance, accident and illness insurance, and damage insurance lines including civil liability, professional risks, maritime, transport, fire, agricultural, animal, automobile, various, and catastrophic risks. The resolution requires the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette of the Federation and two widely circulated newspapers within 120 natural days following notification.
