The Bank of Mozambique amends the nomenclature for accounts 41, 410, 411, and 419 to specify national currency designations and creates new accounts 412 and 413 for foreign currency demand deposits and mandatory reserves. These changes apply to the banking system to record foreign currency availability in other credit institutions and minimum foreign currency reserves imposed on banks. The notice was issued by the Bank of Mozambique on 1 October 1993.
