The Bank of Mozambique establishes mandatory Terms of Commitment for Banking Intermediation of Goods Export, requiring intermediary banks to issue this document to certify client status and the exporter's irrevocable commitment to remit revenues to the same bank. Banks must validate these terms via the Single Electronic Window (JUE) within forty-eight hours of receipt and monitor compliance with remittance deadlines, while exporters must provide the Unique Number per Shipment (UCR). This regulation applies to banks and resident exporting entities involved in foreign exchange operations for goods, entering into force on 1 May 2013 with a six-month transitional period for JUE adaptation.
