Notice No. 04/GGBM/2006 on Check Standardization
The Bank of Mozambique amends item IV of letter d) in the Fourth track specifications of the Standard Check Model to introduce security elements into the interbank zone of the magnetic band. This modification requires strict adherence to a new five-field structure for magnetic character printing to improve electronic clearing. The regulation enters into force immediately upon issuance on June 20, 2006.
