Notice No. 11/GBM/2005 of 18 October - Interbank Money Market

The Bank of Mozambique approved the Regulation of the Interbank Money Market, which establishes operational rules for authorized financial institutions participating in the market. The regulation mandates a minimum transaction value of 5 million centavos, limits operation terms to one year, and requires immediate notification of trades to the central bank. It also defines liquidity management mechanisms, including deposit auctions, permanent facilities, and last-minute reserve facilities, while specifying the use of Treasury Bills and Monetary Authority Titles as collateral.
