The Bank of Portugal amends paragraph 5 of Part I of the annex to Notice No. 1/93 to align with European Commission Directive 95/67/EC. The amendment updates the definition of multilateral development banks to include the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the African Development Bank, the Council of Europe Social Development Fund, the Nordic Investment Bank, the Caribbean Development Bank, the European Investment Fund, and the Inter-American Investment Corporation. This change takes effect on December 3, 1996.
