The National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) officially records the permanent closure of the JPMorgan Chase Bank, National Association New York Representation Office in Mexico and revokes its authorization for establishment. This action follows the entity's notification submitted on August 11, 2020, and was adopted unanimously by the Board of Directors on September 15, 2020, based on favorable opinions from the CNBV Authorization Committee. The revocation nullifies the original authorization granted by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit on May 27, 1972.
