The National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) revoked the authorization for Lek Securities Corporation, Representation Office in Mexico, to operate in the country, resulting in the permanent closure of the office. This decision was adopted unanimously by the Board of Directors on November 12, 2018, following the entity's notification of its definitive closure and request for authorization revocation. The revocation is based on the Rules for Representation Offices of Foreign Financial Entities and relevant provisions of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law and the Securities Market Law.
