Office revoking the authorization granted to Unicaja Banco, S.A., Representation Office in Mexico, to continue operating as a representation office of a foreign financial entity
The National Banking and Securities Commission revokes the authorization of Unicaja Banco, S.A., Representation Office in Mexico, to organize and operate as a representation office of a foreign financial entity. This decision is based on the failure to provide sufficient evidence to refute the grounds for revocation under Article 7 of the Credit Institutions Law and Rule 15.4 of the Representation Offices Rules. Effective upon notification, the entity is prohibited from conducting any activities.
