Official Letter 06-C00-41100/00633 authorizing the organization and operation of Berkley International Fianzas Mexico, S.A. de C.V.
The National Commission of Insurance and Bonds authorizes Berkley Insurance Company, through related society W.R. Berkley Mexico, S.A. de C.V. and shareholder W.R. Berkley Spain, S.L.U., to organize and operate the subsidiary surety institution Berkley International Fianzas Mexico, S.A. de C.V. The authorization permits the practice of sureties in judicial, administrative, and credit branches, as well as reinsurance operations and guarantee trusts. This authorization is subject to obtaining a favorable opinion from the Commission within 180 days from the approval of the articles of incorporation, and requires publication in the Official Gazette and two widely circulated newspapers within 120 days of notification.
