The National Insurance and Bonding Commission modifies the authorization for Mapfre Mexico, S.A. to reflect changes in its corporate statutes, including the name change from Mapfre Tepeyac, S.A., the update of its registered office to Mexico City, and the adjustment of its authorized business lines to replace "earthquake" with "catastrophic risks." The resolution also mandates that the institution's minimum paid-in capital be expressed in Investment Units and covered in national currency, in accordance with Article 49 of the Insurance and Bonding Institutions Law. Mapfre Mexico, S.A. is required to publish these resolutions in the Official Gazette of the Federation and two widely circulated newspapers within 120 days of notification.
