Official Letter Modifying the Authorization for BBVA Seguros Salud México, S.A. de C.V., Grupo Financiero BBVA México to Organize, Operate, and Function as an Insurance Institution
The National Insurance and Sureties Commission modifies the authorization for BBVA Seguros Salud México, S.A. de C.V., Grupo Financiero BBVA México to reflect its name change from BBVA Bancomer Seguros Salud and to update applicable legislation. The amendment removes references to the Federal District, eliminates provisions citing the repealed General Law of Insurance Mutual Institutions and Societies, and updates the corporate bylaws to align with the current Insurance and Sureties Institutions Law. The institution remains authorized as a specialized health insurance subsidiary of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. through Grupo Financiero BBVA México, S.A. de C.V.
