Official Letter Modifying the Authorization Granted to MetLife Mexico, S.A. to Operate as a Subsidiary Insurance Institution
The National Insurance and Bonds Commission modifies the authorization for MetLife Mexico, S.A. to recognize it as a subsidiary of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company through its related entity Metlife Mexico Holdings, S. de R.L. de C.V. and to update its capital requirements to a minimum paid-in capital expressed in Investment Units as determined annually. The resolution also formally updates the institution's bylaws and operational bases, requiring publication of these changes in the Official Gazette and two widely circulated newspapers within 120 days of notification.
