Official Letter Modifying the Authorization Granted to MetLife Pensiones México, S.A. to Operate as a Specialized Pension Insurance Subsidiary
The National Insurance and Bonds Commission modifies the authorization for MetLife Pensiones México, S.A. to explicitly state its status as a subsidiary of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company through Metlife México Holdings, S. de R.L. de C.V. The resolution replaces the fixed capital amount reference with a requirement to maintain the minimum paid-in capital determined annually for each authorized operation and line of business, expressed in Investment Units and paid in national currency. These resolutions must be published in the Official Gazette and two widely circulated newspapers within 120 days of notification.
