Official Letter Modifying the Authorization Granted to Prudential Seguros Mexico, S.A. to Operate as an Insurance Institution
The National Insurance and Bonds Commission modifies the authorization granted to Prudential Seguros Mexico, S.A. to reflect changes in its corporate bylaws, specifically replacing the reference to the Federal District with Mexico City in its social domicile and removing the fixed capital amount. The authorization now requires the institution to maintain the minimum paid-in capital determined for the relevant year for each authorized operation or line of business, expressed in Investment Units and paid in national currency. The modified authorization is published in the Official Gazette of the Federation and two widely circulated newspapers within 120 days of notification.
