On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aimed at Improving the System of Licensing and Permitting Procedures in the Field of Crypto-Asset Turnover
This Law introduces amendments and additions to the "Law on State Duty" and the "Law on Licensing, Permitting and Notification Procedures" in Uzbekistan. It mandates that legal entities obtaining licenses for crypto-asset service provider activities, including crypto-exchanges, mining-pools, crypto-depositories, and crypto-shops, pay a state duty in an amount and manner determined by the National Agency for Prospective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Additionally, it establishes a permit requirement for mining activities, with the National Agency for Prospective Projects as the authorized body, and sets the state duty for such permits at 150 and for service provider licenses at 300.
