On Amendments and Additions to the Regulation on the Procedure for Providing Bank Guarantees by Commercial Banks
This resolution amends the Regulation on the Procedure for Providing Bank Guarantees by Commercial Banks, approved by the Central Bank Board in 2012. It revises clause 7 to mandate that guarantee issues be reviewed by the credit committee within policy limits and requires guarantee accounting to be maintained at the head office under the chairman's responsibility. A new clause 7-1 is added requiring guarantees to be executed on strict accounting blanks with special protection signs produced by the State Production Association 'Davlat Belgisi', while clause 14 is updated to replace 'head office' with 'bank (branch)'. The resolution enters into force three months after official publication and was subsequently invalidated on September 14, 2022.
