On Amendments to the Guidance on Maintaining Accounting and Organizing Accounting Work in Banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated April 13, 2016, No. URQ-404 "On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan 'On Accounting'" dated April 13, 2016, the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan resolves:

1. Amendments shall be made to the [Guidance](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=21.07.2008 00#1371379) on Maintaining Accounting and Organizing Accounting Work in Banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan, approved by Resolution No. 11/5 of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 3, 2008 (registration number 1834, July 11, 2008) (Collection of Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2008, No. 28, Article 276), in accordance with the Appendix.

2. This resolution enters into force from the date of its official publication.

APPENDIX

Amendments being made to the Guidance on Maintaining Accounting and Organizing Accounting Work in Banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan

1. In paragraph [27](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=16.02.2015 00#2573232) and the [first line](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=16.02.2015 00#2573266) of paragraph 123, the words "on the sheet with seal and signature" shall be replaced with the words "on the sheet with sample signatures and seal impression".

2. In the [fourth line](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=21.07.2008 00#1371486) of paragraph 34, the words "on the sheet of sample signatures" shall be replaced with the words "on the sheet with sample signatures and seal impression".

3. In the [second line](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=21.07.2008 00#1371745) of paragraph 154 and the [first line](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=21.07.2008 00#1371781) of paragraph 167, the word "head" shall be replaced with the words "bank head".

4. In [Appendix 1](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=21.07.2008 00#1371810):

a) [Paragraph 2](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=21.07.2008 00#1371818) shall be stated in the following wording:

"2. In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan 'On Accounting', the bank head is responsible for organizing accounting and reporting in banks, and must create the necessary conditions for the correct maintenance of accounting.

The requirements of the Chief Accountant regarding the documentation of economic operations and their submission to the accounting service are mandatory for all employees of the bank. The bank head must ensure compliance with these requirements by all divisions, services, and employees involved in accounting of the bank.";

b) In [paragraph 23](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=21.07.2008 00#1371905), the word "head" shall be replaced with the words "bank head";

c) In the [second line](/docs/1370900?ONDATE=21.07.2008 00#1371908) of paragraph 24, the words "head" and "From the Head" shall be replaced, respectively, with the words "bank head" and "From the Bank Head".
