Resolution of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On Amendments to the Regulation on Registration and Licensing of Credit Bureaus

[Registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 30, 2025, registration number 3042-6]

In accordance with the Law "On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan" of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan resolves:

1. Amendments shall be made to the [Regulation](/docs/-3835111?ONDATE=26.10.2018 00#-3840834) Appendix approved by Resolution No. 16/23 of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 28, 2018 (registration number 3042, July 25, 2018) (National Database of Legal Information, July 25, 2018, No. 10/18/3042/1573) on the Procedure for Registration and Licensing of Credit Bureaus.

2. This resolution is coordinated with the Ministry of Digital Technologies and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

3. This resolution enters into force from the date of its official publication.

APPENDIX

Amendments to the Regulation on Registration and Licensing of Credit Bureaus

1. The [title](/docs/-3835111?ONDATE=26.10.2018 00#-3840914) of Chapter 3 shall be stated as follows:

"Requirements for Software Tools, Information Security, and Cybersecurity in Credit Bureaus".

2. In [Article 9](/docs/-3835111?ONDATE=26.10.2018 00#-3840917):

the [first paragraph](/docs/-3835111?ONDATE=26.10.2018 00#-3840917) shall be stated as follows:

"9. A credit bureau must have licensed and certified software tools that comply with information security and cybersecurity requirements applied in information systems in its activities, and these tools must ensure the following:";

the [twelfth paragraph](/docs/-3835111?ONDATE=24.01.2023 00#-6371956) shall be stated as follows:

"A credit bureau must have scoring software protected by licensed and certified software tools that comply with information security and cybersecurity requirements applied in information systems.".

3. [Article 10](/docs/-3835111?ONDATE=26.10.2018 00#-3840944) shall be stated as follows:

"10. Ensuring information security and cybersecurity of a credit bureau is organized in accordance with the Regulation on Minimum Requirements for Information Security and Cybersecurity of Credit Bureaus (registration number 3679, September 23, 2025).".

4. [Articles 11 – 18](/docs/-3835111?ONDATE=26.10.2018 00#-3840963) shall be deemed to have lost their force.
