Appendix 3
to the Rules for the Issuance, Circulation
and Redemption of Digital Tenge
Unified Structure of the Digital Account Number
- The unified structure of the digital account number has a fixed length of twenty digits KZCCBBBDTHXXXXXXXXXXXX, where:
1) the first and second digits are the code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The international code KZ is used;
2) the third and fourth digits are the check digit, intended for control, ensuring the accuracy of the digital account number and its correct indication in payment and other documents;
3) the fifth, sixth and seventh digits are the participant code assigned by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
4) the eighth and ninth digits use the designation of the digital account DT;
5) digits from the tenth to the twentieth are the intra-system number of the digital account of the participant, or platform user, which is unique in the information (operational and other) system of one participant and ensures unambiguous identification of the platform user.
Digits of the intra-system number of the digital account are used at the discretion of the participant. Free signs are denoted by zeros and are located in unused digits to the left before the number. In the numbering of digital accounts, numeric or alphanumeric characters of the Latin alphabet are used, except for the letters "I", "Q", "O". In the presence of letter symbols in the intra-system number of the digital account, the calculation of the check digit is performed using the table for converting letter symbols to numbers provided in this appendix.
- For the purpose of simplifying the visual perception of the digital account number, it is allowed to indicate in payment and other documents on paper the digital account number consisting of four-digit symbols separated by a space, in the following form:
KZCC BBBD THHH HHHH HHHH.
- In payment and other documents prepared in electronic form, the digital account number is indicated as a continuous sequence of characters.
Table for Converting Letter Symbols to Numbers
| | | |
|---|
| A=10 | G=16 | N=23 | V=31 |
| B=11 | H=17 | P=25 | W=32 |
| C=12 | J=19 | R=27 | X=33 |
| D=13 | K=20 | S=28 | Y=34 |
| E=14 | L=21 | T=29 | Z=35 |
| F=15 | M=22 | U=30 | |
- When calculating the check digit, the international standard (Modulus 97-10, ISO-7064) is used, which involves dividing the number by 97, and the remainder from the division is subtracted from 98. If the result is a single-digit number, a leading zero is added.
