On Measures to Ensure the Rapid Development of Domestic Tourism
The President of Uzbekistan approves the Action Plan for the "Travel Across Uzbekistan" domestic tourism development program, mandating the State Committee for Tourism Development and other agencies to organize tours, schedule excursions, and promote domestic tourism through mass media and outdoor advertising. The decree establishes tax incentives, including the exclusion of tourism-related expenses from taxable income for employees and tourism operators, and allows for the deduction of costs for sanitary infrastructure and promotional materials. It further authorizes the allocation of unused land for tourism projects, the creation of small tourism zones, and the implementation of simplified registration procedures for guests in private accommodations.
