On Putting into Circulation the Silver Commemorative Coin “COP17” in the Framework of Commemorative Coin Issuance Program for 2026-2027

Pursuant to Article 2(3), Article 20(1)(‘e’ and ‘g’) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia”, the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia

Enacts:

1. Put into circulation, starting October 5, 2026, the silver commemorative coin “COP17”, in accordance with the specification and designs as described in Appendix 1 to this resolution.
2. This resolution to take effect on the day following its official publication.

Appendix 1
to the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia Board Resolution No. 230-N, dated August 25, 2026

SPECIFICATION AND DESIGNS
Silver commemorative coin “COP17”

1. Obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Armenia, and the stylized tricolor flag. The inscriptions include: “ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ”, “REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA”, “1000 ԴՐԱՄ • DRAM”, and “2026”.

2. Reverse of the coin depicts the COP17 logo which is stylized as a Yerevan blue butterfly (polyommatus eriwanensis). The inscriptions include: “TAKING ACTION FOR NATURE” (“ԳՈՐԾԵԼՈՎ ՀԱՆՈՒՆ ԲՆՈՒԹՅԱՆ”), “COP17”, and “YEREVAN | ARMENIA”.
