The Academy is to be funded equally by the Republic budget and the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan, and is exempt from all taxes for its first three years. The Central Bank and the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activities are directed to assist in organizing education and research, including by engaging international experts, with the first student intake scheduled for the 1996-1997 academic year.
