Tasks and investment projects for producing high value-added pharmaceutical products based on plant, mineral, chemical, and biological raw materials are approved for the 2016-2020 period. Organizations specializing in drug production with at least 60% revenue share from such activities are exempt from profit tax, property tax, unified tax payments, and Road Fund allocations until January 1, 2021, while technological equipment imported for approved projects is exempt from customs duties. Implementation responsibilities are assigned to the Ministry of Economy, Uzpharmsanoat JSC, and regional authorities, though specific clauses regarding sectoral schedules and certain exemptions were subsequently annulled by later Presidential Decrees.
