Operating Instructions on Reserve Requirements
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka issues these operating instructions to define the reserve maintenance schedule and reporting obligations for banks in 2026. Schedule A provides a detailed calendar mapping base periods, reserve calculation dates, and reserve maintenance periods throughout the year. Schedules B and C specify the required forms for reporting daily average deposit liabilities and calculating the corresponding reserve requirements in Sri Lanka Rupees.
