Subject 1: 2,000 Peso Banknotes This circular replaces page 1-33 of Operational and Services External Circular DEP-473 dated February 4, 2026, corresponding to Subject 1: titled “2,000 Peso Banknotes” of the corporate manual of the Issuance and Programming Department. Through this update, the following modification is incorporated:

• Paragraph 87 is added, which informs that, starting June 18, 2026, the Bank of the Republic will put into circulation 2,000 peso banknotes, with an edition date of October 24, 2023 – series CJ.

86. EDITION OCTOBER 24, 2023 – SERIES CH
Starting February 9, 2026, the Bank of the Republic put into circulation 2,000 peso banknotes of the new family, with an edition date of October 24, 2023 – series CH, which have the same design and identical general characteristics and security devices of the previous edition.
87. EDITION OCTOBER 24, 2023 – SERIES CJ
Starting June 18, 2026, the Bank of the Republic will put into circulation 2,000 peso banknotes of the new family, with an edition date of October 24, 2023 – series CJ, which have the same design and identical general characteristics and security devices of the previous edition. (SPACE AVAILABLE)
