Subject 1: 2,000 Peso Banknotes This circular replaces page 1-33 of the Operational and Services External Circular DEP-473 dated June 11, 2026, corresponding to Subject 1: titled “2,000 Peso Banknotes” of the corporate manual of the Issuance and Programming Department. Through this update:

• Item 88 is added, which informs that, starting September 9, 2026, the Bank of the Republic will put into circulation 2,000 peso banknotes, with an edition date of July 23, 2024 – series CK.

86. OCTOBER 24, 2023 EDITION – SERIES CH
Starting February 9, 2026, the Bank of the Republic put into circulation 2,000 peso banknotes of the new family, with an edition date of October 24, 2023 – series CH, which have the same design and identical general characteristics and security devices of the previous edition.
87. OCTOBER 24, 2023 EDITION – SERIES CJ
Starting June 18, 2026, the Bank of the Republic put into circulation 2,000 peso banknotes of the new family, with an edition date of October 24, 2023 – series CJ, which have the same design and identical general characteristics and security devices of the previous edition.
88. JULY 23, 2024 EDITION – SERIES CK
Starting September 9, 2026, the Bank of the Republic will put into circulation 2,000 peso banknotes of the new family, with an edition date of July 23, 2024 – series CK, which have the same design and identical general characteristics and security devices of the previous edition. (AVAILABLE SPACE)
