Operational and Services External Circular DEP-486, Subject 08: 500 Peso Metallic Coin
The Issuance and Programming Department of the Bank of the Republic updates Operational and Services External Circular DEP-486 to formally announce the March 30, 2026 circulation of 500 peso coins bearing the 2026 minting year. These new coins maintain identical design and general characteristics to the 2025-Nueva Familia series, continuing the established annual release pattern documented for the 2022 through 2025 minting years.
