This framework must define procedures for issuing freeze instructions, permitting tendering in tender offer routes, and handling the invocation or release of prior encumbrances. The operational framework and necessary system enhancements must be in place before August 01, 2026. Listed companies, stock exchanges, merchant bankers, registrars, and share transfer agents are required to comply with this circular and the resulting operational framework.
