Outright Purchase and Sale of GOP Sukuk by Government of Pakistan (GOP)
Non-bank investors, including corporates, funds, and individuals, are now eligible to participate in auctions for the outright purchase and sale of GOP Sukuk. These investors may submit pass-through or non-competitive bids through Islamic Banking Institutions or Islamic Banking Branches, which must submit the required documentation on their behalf. Non-competitive bids must be submitted one day prior to the competitive auction at the uniform price determined by the auction process, with only a single bid allowed per tenor.
