Partial Amendment to Beneficial Owner Account Regularization Directives

Circular No. SEC/SRMD/2007-12/1172/1532 dated November 19, 2007 and Circular No. SEC/SRMD/2007-12/1172/50 dated March 17, 2008

To facilitate the implementation and ease of the decisions issued through the above circulars, the Securities and Exchange Commission has extended the deadline for Beneficial Owner (BO) account regularization until September 30, 2008. Additionally, in the matter of regularization, investors may provide self-attested copies of bank certificates or previously issued National Identity Cards (NID). This decision will also apply to the opening of new BO accounts.
