Payment institutions: Cross-border services
Payment institutions established in the Netherlands must submit a passport notification via MijnDNB to offer services in another Member State without a local establishment. The notification must comply with section 42a(a) of the Decree on Market Access of Financial Undertakings, and DNB reserves the right to request additional information. Processing takes up to three months, and services may only be offered once the institution and activities are entered in DNB’s registers.
