Payment of Registration Fees
The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago mandates that pension plan trustees, management committees, and plan sponsors pay registration fees effective January 1, 2021. A fee of $2,500 applies to the registration of new pension fund plans, while $1,000 is required for amendments to Trust Deeds or corrections to the register. These payments must be made directly to the Central Bank via electronic transfer or cheque, replacing previous payments to District Revenue Offices.
