PF-CIR-01-2020 – PF Response to COVID 19
The Registrar of Pension Funds extends the deadline for submitting the chart of accounts for the quarter ended 31 March 2020 to 31 May 2020, while maintaining the usual submission dates for the remaining statutory quarterly returns for the 2020 financial year. Fund trustees are advised to apply for exemptions from investment compliance limits under regulations 13(6) and 13(14) if the pandemic causes passive breaches, and to follow established procedures to alter contribution rates, which do not require member consent. Applications for exemptions or extensions for annual financial statements and actuarial valuation reports must be submitted via the Electronic Regulatory System platform.
