PI-PF-03-2012 – Section 14 of the Pension Funds Act 24 Of 1956 – Providing Proof of Consent from the Members and Participating Employer
Pension funds applying for Section 14 transfers from a defined benefit fund to a defined contribution fund must submit signed consent forms from affected members. Funds transferring between defined contribution funds must submit the participating employer’s consent form. The Registrar will no longer accept presentations, newsletters, or letters as proof of member notification, and applications lacking these specific consent forms will be regarded as incomplete and not considered for approval.
