The Guernsey Financial Services Commission issued the Private Investment Fund Rules 2025 to replace the 2021 regime with a streamlined framework for qualifying private investors. The revision merges previous routes into a single Qualifying Private Fund category, removes upper limits on investor numbers, and eliminates mandatory external audits and risk disclosure statements. While appointing a licensed Designated Administrator remains mandatory, the new rules allow optional appointment of managers and auditors while retaining core compliance obligations regarding conflicts of interest and investor eligibility.
