Subject: Placement of JamaPunji web link and logo on the websites of Insurers, Brokers and Surveyors

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has launched an investor education web portal named “JamaPunji”, which is aimed at creating awareness among the public at large about saving, investing, financial planning and protection of the investors and policyholders.

2. To support this initiative and in continuation of notification SRO 634(I)/2014 dated July 10, 2014, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (“SECP”) hereby directs that all public listed and public unlisted insurance companies shall place the web link of the SECP’s investor education portal “JamaPunji” (http://jamapunji.pk) along with its following logo at a prominent place on the homepage of their websites.

NOTE: The above logo of JamaPunji can be found on the SECP’s website (http://www.secp.gov.pk/).

3. Other licensed insurance entities, which are under no obligation to maintain website in terms of the aforementioned SRO are encouraged to place “JamaPunji” web link and logo on their websites, if such entities are voluntarily maintaining their websites.
