Insurance Companies Registered under the Insurance Act, Chap 84:91 Association of Trinidad & Tobago Insurance Companies Secretariat REF: CB-OIFI-3381/2019 PRODUCT(S) INFORMATION The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago ("Central Bank"), as part of the ongoing monitoring of the insurance sector, is requesting insurance companies to submit a complete listing of its suite of products as at December 31, 2019. For each product the infonnation provided should include the following:
a) Nature of the product (e.g. long-term or short-tenn); b) Whether it is currently being sold or not; c) Number of policies and sum assured/insured; d) A copy of the policy contract, including a sample schedule of benefits; e) Copies of any policy illustrations given to clients; and f) Copies of any brochure or other materials used for advertising/marketing. Accordingly, a hard copy of the above requested information should be submitted to the imdersigned by January 15, 2020. An electronic copy should be sent to insurance re orts central-bank. or .tt with a copy submitted to the relevant Relationship Officer. We look forward to your continued cooperation.
