Provision of Small Denominations and Coins
The Saudi Central Bank mandates all banks and financial institutions operating in the Kingdom to maintain sufficient quantities of small denomination banknotes and coins to meet public demand for acquisition or exchange across all branches. The regulator will conduct field inspections at cash centers and bank branches to verify compliance with this requirement for individual and corporate clients.
