Rule · NBB · 12 Nov 2008 · CBFA_2008_20
The CBFA establishes specific monitoring expectations for supervised institutions authorized to use advanced approaches (IRB and/or AMA) for credit and operational risk. Institutions must maintain internal files to demonstrate continuous compliance with minimum regulatory requirements, which must be made available to the CBFA upon request. Significant modifications to initially approved models require prior notification and authorization, while sequential implementation plans are monitored according to a schedule defined by the regulator.
