PSD Circular No. 06: Issuance of PSO license to Fingerprint Information Technology Limited
The Bangladesh Bank has granted a license to Fingerprint Information Technology Limited to operate as a Payment System Operator (PSO) under the brand name "Moneybag" within the country. This authorization is issued subject to the conditions specified in the department's letter PSD/ADCNDL(FITL)/36/2023-1797, in accordance with the Bangladesh Payment and Settlement Systems Regulations-2014. The circular serves to notify all scheduled banks, mobile financial service providers, payment system operators, and payment service providers operating in Bangladesh of this licensing decision.
