PSD Circular No. 07: Ensuring uninterrupted ATM, POS, QR Code, Internet Banking, Online e-Payment Gateway and MFS during the vacation of Eid-ul-Azha
The Payment Systems Department of Bangladesh Bank directs all scheduled banks, Mobile Financial Service providers, Payment Service providers, and Payment System Operators to ensure uninterrupted electronic transactions during the Eid-ul-Azha vacation. Institutions must guarantee 24/7 ATM and POS/QR services, maintain sufficient cash at ATMs and MFS agent points, and enforce Two Factor Authentication for internet banking and online payments. Additionally, receiving banks must immediately credit funds for transactions with response code '85' upon settlement, and all entities must provide instant SMS alerts, maintain help lines, and ensure customer security and awareness.
