The Securities Commission of The Bahamas revokes the licences of 51 individuals and entities that failed to transition from the repealed 2000 Act to the Financial and Corporate Service Providers Act, 2020, and did not apply for restoration within the thirty-day period expiring on 19 July 2023. These licensees are prohibited from providing any licensable or registerable services with immediate effect. Any person conducting activities requiring a licence under the Act without being duly licensed commits an offence liable to criminal prosecution.
