EXTENTION ON FORMAL CONSULTATION ON SUBORDINATE LEGISLATION OF THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND MARKETS ACT (FIMA)

  1. Reference is made to Public Notice dated 07 February 2023.
  2. The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) herewith informs the
    public impacted by the implementation of the Financial Institutions and Markets Act, No. 2 of 2021, of the following.
  3. Following requests received from the Public to extend the deadline of 08 March 2023, an
    extension is hereby granted until 31 March 2023 to the Public, to submit the comments on the formal consultation on the subordinate legislation.
  4. Take further notice that no further extension shall be granted should the due date not be
    adhered to.
