Public Notice – Implementation of the FIM Act
The Minister of Finance has directed the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) to proceed with the implementation of the Financial Institutions and Markets Act, 2021 (Act No. 2 of 2021). The draft Regulation R.F.R.5.10 on the preservation of retirement benefits will not be implemented alongside this Act and will be reworked following public consultation. NAMFISA will communicate the commencement date and implementation modalities in due course.
