The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago reminds all local insurance companies and financial holding companies of their obligation under section 152(1) of the Insurance Act, 2018 to publish their complete audited financial statements within sixty business days after the end of each financial year. Until the Central Bank finalizes a guideline and publishes a notice confirming agreement with ICATT on abridged formats, insurers must publish full individual and consolidated statements in at least two daily newspapers and exhibit them in their offices. This directive applies to all entities registered under the Act and remains in effect until the specified abridged publication framework is formally established.
